The 19-year-old who died after being hit by a vehicle on Saturday in Avon was identified as Ariel Dineen. This accident took place when she was crossing the road to visit her friend, who works in Dunkin Donuts.
Dineen was crossing at the Centre Median, she tripped and hit by a jeep. She was rushed to hospital after she suffered severe head trauma. Dineen was working at Party Shift; this accident took place when she was on her lunch break.
The driver stayed on the scene and no charges are filed. Police are still investigating this case. A GoFundMe account was set up on her name.
Ariel last spoke on phone with her mother, her mother said she will not forget the meaningful conversation she last had with her daughter.
