Nrithyajyoth promotes the Tanjore style of Bharatanatyam, a style shaped in the 1800s in Tanjore (Tanjavur) , an important center of South Indian art and culture. With the blessings of her Guru, Shri. M. Kalyanaraman Pillai, Krithika is dedicated to teach, perform and carry forward the traditional art form of Southern India at Nrithyajyoth School of Dance.
